More Choices. Fewer Emissions. - Why technology neutrality is key to achieving EU climate targets
What does technology neutrality mean and why is it crucial for achieving the climate targets? How can a competition of technologies spur decarbonisation? Or is it just an excuse to do keep doing business as usual, as some critics say? Who should decide what the right technologies are to lower or eliminate CO2 emissions? What regulatory framework is needed to support technology neutral strategies? And how can we connect technologies from different sectors to create synergies?
To answer these and other questions, our speakers will discuss how different sustainable technologies can complement each other. They will also debate what needs to change in EU policies to make use of all climate friendly technologies.
